What imbarazz is
imbarazz is a free civic reporting tool that allows users to photograph and pin litter spots and illegal dumps on a public map across the Maltese islands. It is not affiliated with any government body or authority.
Acceptable use
You agree to use imbarazz only for its intended purpose. You must not:
- Submit false, fabricated, or misleading reports
- Upload photos that are offensive, indecent, or unrelated to litter or dumping
- Use the app to harass, defame, or target individuals
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the service
- Submit reports outside the Maltese islands
Your content
When you submit a report, you confirm that the photo was taken by you or that you have the right to use it. By submitting, you grant imbarazz the right to display your photo and report data publicly on the map.
No guarantee of action
imbarazz routes illegal dump reports to the relevant authorities but cannot guarantee that any authority will act on a report or within any specific timeframe.
Limitation of liability
imbarazz is provided free of charge and as-is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, imbarazz and its operator are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service.
Moderation
We reserve the right to remove any report that violates these terms. Repeated abuse may result in your device being blocked from submitting reports.

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last updated.
